1. Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

• EUS combines endoscopy and ultrasound to obtain high-resolution images and information about the layers of the gastrointestinal tract and surrounding organs. It is particularly useful for diagnosing and staging cancers of the digestive system, evaluating pancreatic and biliary disorders, and assessing submucosal lesions.

2. Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

• ERCP is a specialized technique used to diagnose and treat conditions of the bile ducts and pancreas. This procedure involves the use of an endoscope and X-rays to identify blockages, stones, and other abnormalities. Therapeutic interventions, such as stent placement or stone removal, can often be performed during the same procedure.

3. Colonoscopy

4. Upper Endoscopy (EGD)

5. Capsule Endoscopy

• Capsule endoscopy involves swallowing a small, pill-sized camera that captures images as it travels through the digestive tract. This non-invasive procedure is particularly useful for visualizing the small intestine and diagnosing conditions such as Crohn’s disease, small intestinal tumors, and obscure gastrointestinal bleeding.
